California Goldrush goes straight to the Championship game not losing a game in championship bracket play. Now we will play the winner of the loosers bracket and they have to beat us twice.  We are thinking it will be the Scorpions but the Scorpions are beat by the Missfits and then the Missfits beat the Condors. The Storm USA beats the Missfits to earn their way back into the National Championship game.

Championship game play. Fifth game, Storm USA. Storm USA wins 12-4 getting 15 hits with 9 RBI's, 1 HR, 1 BB, and only striking out twice. The Goldrush had 11 hits, 4 RBI's, 1 HR, also only struck out twice and left 5 runners stranded, but the Goldrush committed 7 errors. the winning run.

Fourth game, Storm USA. This game was played like a championship game. Lots of intensity and tough
playing on both sides. The California Goldrush came out on top with a 3-1 win. I thought we were in trouble when
they came out playing small ball, which we have not really seen all summer. Our players made some defensive
changes to counter and we shut down the small ball for the rest of the game. We started off in the first inning by scoring 2 runs Mandi Salcido (UC Davis) lead off with a walk, Keli Leong (Columbia) base hit, Emily Atkinson (Southern Connecticut State) base hit  to score Mandi.
